Arctic GatorTM makes commercial AC Greener
Chlorofluorocarbon refrigerants used in AC systems are tightly regulated by the EPA largely due to concerns of ozone depletion. In addition to being bad for the environment, CFCs can be a health hazard if inhaled by your building’s employees, visitors and maintenance personnel.
Arctic Gator systems reduce the use of such refrigerants by 50%, and completely remove their presence inside of buildings where they could pose a potential health risk to occupants.
High operating pressures of conventional systems can contribute to refrigerant leaks, and pose a safety hazard for maintenance workers. These risks are greatly reduced with the lower operating pressures of Arctic Gator systems.
